Plastic bullets in an air rifle ?

I have a Very old BSA air rifle I found in my grampa’s loft. He says it takes those ‘badmitten’ shaped lead pellets. *NOT SURE WHAT SIZE YET*

BSA’s are old guns. Look around on the gun for a stamp, it should tell you what mm size it is. 4.5mm is .177 caliber,
and 5.5mm is .22. It’s the only two that the gun will shoot,
one or the other. .20 calibers are fairly uncommon for European air guns. Not say they didn’t shoot them, just not much made back then, especially a BSA.
And by the way, Roger W is a jackoff. He doesn’t know a thing about air guns.
